This December, Mañón Media Management unveils a new internal expansion aligned with the firm’s continued rise on the national stage: the launch of a new concierge role, created to support the increasing pace, scale, and depth of its client and community work as we land new national outlets and partnerships.
As MMM continues to further refine its proprietary approach to public relations—one that merges deep newsroom intelligence with community-centered storytelling and movement-level strategy—this role ensures a seamless flow of communication, sharper execution across markets, and the infrastructural strength required to sustain national-scale influence.

Who I am
My name is Omar Nwakwubei, I am a senior at the University of Rochester majoring in Language, Media, and Communications.
Born in Long Beach, California and raised in Hawthorne, I've always been driven by a passion for communication and building strong relationships to serve the needs of other people. Graduating from Hawthorne High School, I was accepted into the University of Rochester, originally as a Political Science major. During my high school career, I was a member of the MAMBA Honor Society and the Criminal Justice Academy, and eventually received the Superintendent's Honor Roll for an accumulated 4.0 GPA during my senior year, along with a Certificate of Achievement from my honor society for academic excellence. I also won the Ammar B. Mufleh Foundation IT Scholarship, going into my freshman year at the University of Rochester, which helped support my initial step in my academic journey. I am dedicated to bringing big ideas to life and using my unique skillset to help.

How I Can Help
In my role with MMM, I serve as a concierge– assisting with requests, operations, and client support. That means I'm here to streamline communication, support needs, and ensure client interactions feel smooth and seamless. Whether it’s joining interviews, directing resources, or organizing lists, I’m committed to making sure that everything is on schedule and as top-notch as possible. For example, here is a list of quick needs clients may have for our team that I can sort or handle completely, reducing the lag between request and follow-through.
Meeting Quick Needs
Joining Zoom Calls: Coordinating schedules and ensuring participants have what they need beforehand, while also joining day-of to ensure new requests are met
Organizing lists: Keeping priorities clear and actionable when it comes to pitching so we track all placements and interest
Fulfilling Community Services: Supporting initiatives that matter to our clients and picking up community efforts to remain relevant across industries
Campaigns and Projects: Helping design and organize creative campaigns that reflect MMM's values.

Why This Role Matters for MMM Clients
This role provides structure and consistency to client support. As we grow our client log and expand into bigger campaigns, we're able to meet a diversity of needs quicker and more thoroughly. By monitoring communication daily, clients know their requests are seen and addressed in a timely manner. This reduces delays and ensures that important details are not overlooked.
Managing interviews and resources helps clients stay prepared for opportunities and challenges.
When schedules change or urgent needs arise, this role ensures that adjustments are made quickly and effectively, keeping projects on track. Community service requests are handled with care, reflecting MMM’s commitment to initiatives that matter to clients.

Overall, clients can expect a cleaner and easier experience working with MMM. They will benefit from clear lists that outline priorities and next steps, keeping both parties aligned. Campaigns are structured so that tasks are tracked from start to finish, reducing the chance of missed details. Each client request is treated with equal importance.
